SMV Market Mission Statment
SMV Market Corporation aims to provide affordable access to fresh, locally sourced groceries to residents, visitors, and business owners within the City of Stone Mountain.
The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:
- to, where and when feasible, engage local farmers and/or food producers for fresh grocery sourcing;
- to offer said fresh groceries at price points which are feasibly aligned with the community’s average per capita income;
- to sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities which provide opportunities for community members to partake in educational programs which promote awareness for healthful living and eating; and
- to provide facilities, equipment, and/or training for volunteers within the community who wish to contribute their efforts to further the aforementioned purpose of this organization.
